You'll be another trusted advisor to a varied portfolio of clients, providing valuable commercial insight and building meaningful relationships while working in a firm where your expertise, ideas, and contribution are genuinely recognised.

Reporting immediately to the partners, you'll have a pivotal role in building strong relationships with, and delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to your clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a trusted business partner to clients, providing practical accounting, taxation, and business advisory support.
• Preparing year-end accounts, corporation and self-assessment tax with VAT returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies in accordance with FRS 102 Section 1A.
• Supporting, mentoring, and developing junior members of the team.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and legislation.
• Assisting with payroll and audit assignments when required.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• ACA or ACCA qualification trained in practice, working to UK regulations.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation under FRS 102 Section 1A.
• Good working knowledge of VAT, with payroll experience being advantageous.
• Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks,
• Excellent organisation and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong client-facing and relationship management abilities.
• A positive, collaborative approach with a genuine desire to support colleagues.
