Senior Delivery Lead (6-Month Contract)

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Senior Project Manager / Delivery Lead to join us on a 6-month contract and take ownership of a number of significant workstreams within Prometheus, our estate agency technology transformation programme. The role will lead delivery from mobilisation and detailed planning through build, testing, implementation and operational handover, working with the Programme Manager to ensure alignment to the integrated programme roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery of agreed Prometheus workstreams, establishing clear scope, outcomes, deliverables, milestones and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain credible workstream plans, resource forecasts, critical paths, delivery controls and RAID logs; feed dependencies and progress into the integrated programme plan.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, QA, Security, Change, Operations and external suppliers; drive decisions and remove delivery blockers.
• Manage interdependencies across CRM, data migration, APIs/event-streaming, reporting, testing, release planning and business readiness, escalating material impacts promptly.
• Provide accurate weekly status, milestone and financial reporting to the Programme Manager, PMO and EA Head of Delivery, with clear risks, options, recommendations and decisions required.
• Hold suppliers and delivery partners to agreed plans, statements of work, deliverables, quality standards and commercial commitments.
• Apply appropriate Agile, SAFe delivery practices, including backlog refinement, iteration planning, release management and outcome-based tracking.
• Coordinate test strategy, defect resolution, non-functional assurance, security, data protection and operational readiness with accountable specialist teams.
• Partner with business and brand stakeholders to plan deployment, training, communications, adoption and a controlled transition to BAU support.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Proven senior project management or technology delivery leadership within complex CRM, digital or enterprise platform transformation.
• Demonstrable ownership of multiple concurrent delivery workstreams, including integrated planning, dependencies, governance and supplier management.
• Strong technical understanding enabling effective engagement with architecture, software engineering, data migration, cloud platforms and enterprise integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication, able to turn complex technical issues into clear delivery decisions for senior audiences.
• Experience coordinating internal teams and third parties across delivery, testing, change and operational readiness.
• Working knowledge of Agile delivery approaches (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) alongside structured project governance and change control.
• Comfortable using Jira, Azure DevOps or comparable tools for delivery tracking, reporting and planning.

Desirable:

• Experience of estate agency, financial services or other regulated, multi-brand customer-facing environments.
• Practical exposure to Microsoft Azure, .NET, SQL, APIs, event-driven integrations or enterprise data migration.
• Formal project or delivery qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI or SAFe
