Job Description

Flexible working Up to 35 hours per week - 6 Months

An established professional services firm is seeking an experienced Copywriter to support a major brand launch, shaping clear, distinctive and consistent messaging across client communications, digital channels, marketing, recruitment and early talent.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, the Copywriter will lead priority copywriting and editorial projects, translating complex legal and business information into compelling, audience-focused content.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing, rewriting and editing high-quality copy across digital, campaign, corporate and recruitment channels.

  • Applying brand messaging and tone of voice consistently while tailoring content to different audiences.

  • Developing reusable content, templates and editorial guidance to support long-term brand adoption.

  • Setting editorial standards, challenging constructively and managing multiple briefs to tight deadlines.

  • Coaching colleagues and delivering practical writing training across international teams.

  • Exploring AI and other technologies to improve content quality, consistency and efficiency.

About the candidate

The successful candidate will bring substantial copywriting and editorial experience, ideally gained through a major brand launch, rebrand or tone-of-voice implementation in a large, complex organisation. Legal or professional services experience is highly desirable.

They will have an exceptional command of written English, a strong portfolio spanning multiple audiences and channels, and the editorial judgement to make complex subject matter clear, engaging and commercially relevant.

Strong stakeholder management, planning and coaching skills are essential, alongside meticulous attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work at pace. Experience in content governance, transformation and AI-assisted writing workflows would be an advantage.

This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on a major brand launch while building lasting editorial capability across an international organisation.
