Finance Business Partner

As a result of continued growth and increasing investment in their finance function, they are seeking an ambitious Finance Business Partner to work closely with senior operational and commercial stakeholders, providing high-quality financial insight that drives performance and supports strategic decision making.

The Opportunity

Reporting into a senior finance leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting regional operations through robust financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and business partnering. You will act as a trusted advisor to operational, commercial and leadership teams, helping to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improved financial performance.

The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and will suit someone who enjoys moving beyond traditional reporting to become a genuine value-add business partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong working relationships with operational, commercial and finance teams.
• Produce and review monthly management information, balance sheet reconciliations and performance analysis.
• Deliver insightful commentary on financial results, highlighting key trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support monthly forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning processes.
• Maintain and enhance cash flow forecasting, providing clear analysis of key movements and working capital drivers.
• Analyse project and trading performance to identify potential risks, opportunities and forecast variances.
• Partner with operational leaders during performance review meetings, ensuring reporting is accurate and actionable.
• Prepare detailed reporting packs and presentations for senior leadership teams.
• Support the evaluation of complex commercial arrangements, investment opportunities and funding structures.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and commercially focused finance professional who can combine strong technical skills with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.

You will ideally possess:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Experience within a finance business partnering, commercial finance or management accounting role.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical skills.
• The ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Experience influencing and challenging senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
