Elevation Accountancy & Finance are thrilled to have partnered with a business based in Chesterfield in their search for a Credit Analyst to join their well established team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and control a portfolio of 700-800 customer accounts
• Perform daily credit control tasks including chasing overdue balances, resolving account issues, and managing payment commitments
• Conduct regular account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies, ensuring accurate financial records are maintained
• Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Cash Allocation, and Finance to facilitate timely order releases, dispute resolutions, and audit support
• Use Excel to generate reports, track performance, and analyse customer behaviour
• Participate in monthly aged debt review meetings with stakeholders to improve collections and reduce overdue exposure
• Support process improvement initiatives aimed at automating workflows and enhancing collaboration across the business

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities
• Confident communicator who can build rapport with both customers and colleagues
• Comfortable working with high-volume data
