Working closely with the Head of Procurement, you'll gain hands-on experience of how purchasing works within a busy business, helping to coordinate suppliers, support internal teams and keep purchasing activities running smoothly.
You'll work with a variety of colleagues across purchasing, finance, warehouse, sales, account management and customer support, as well as communicating with external suppliers. It's a great opportunity to develop your commercial awareness, build valuable business skills and establish a foundation for a rewarding career in procurement.

Basic Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and data.
Good communication skills and a professional, helpful approach.
A proactive attitude, with the ability to learn quickly and take ownership of tasks.
Someone who enjoys working as part of a team but can also use their initiative.
An interest in business, purchasing or supply chain, with a desire to develop professionally.
Previous procurement experience isn't essential. We're more interested in your potential, attitude and enthusiasm to learn.
Salary up to 27,000, depending on experience.
25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
CIPS study support for the right candidate following successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
Clear opportunities for career progression as your skills and experience develop.
Monday to Friday working - 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
Some flexibility around start and finish times.

This is more than an entry-level office role. It's an opportunity to learn a valuable business function, develop in-demand commercial skills and work towards a recognised professional qualification.
If you're bright, organised, comfortable with Excel and keen to build a career, we'd love to hear from you.
