CNC Turner (Citizen Sliding Head / Fixed Head)
Billericay, Essex
Up to £25.00 per hour (DOE)
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
Overtime Available
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in Billericay, Essex.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with experience in Citizen Sliding Head or Fixed Head CNC turning to join a busy production environment with a strong order book, long-term stability, and plenty of overtime available.
Responsibilities:
- Setting, operating and programming CNC turning machines
- Producing high-quality precision components to engineering drawings
- Conducting routine quality checks and inspections
- Maintaining machining efficiency and productivity
- Working to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the machine shop
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner
- Experience with Citizen Sliding Head and/or Fixed Head machines
- Ability to set, operate and programme CNC machinery
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of machining processes and quality requirements
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
