£30,000 - £35,000 DOE + Study Support (if required)
Warrington Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)
Early Finish Fridays

Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a market-leading international business in Warrington to recruit an Accounts Assistant.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the purchase ledger function, including invoice processing and supplier reconciliations
  • Supporting sales ledger and accounts receivable activities
  • Cash allocation and daily banking duties
  • Assisting with treasury activities and cash management
  • Managing bank reconciliations and maintaining banking records
  • Processing and reconciling company credit card transactions
  • Supporting payroll administration and related finance processes
  • Assisting with month-end finance tasks
  • Resolving supplier and customer queries
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls
  • Providing support across the wider finance team as required

About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who:

  • Have previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar role
  • Have strong purchase ledger experience, with some exposure to wider finance responsibilities
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Are confident using Excel and finance systems
  • Have a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Enjoy working as part of a small team and building strong working relationships
  • Have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
