About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a growing business in Milton Keynes. Reporting to the Finance, HR & Operations Manager, you will support month-end reporting, financial analysis, cashflow forecasting, working capital management, and audit preparation while providing valuable financial insight to support business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and support month-end close activities.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis.
• Analyse margins, costs, overheads, and business performance against budgets.
• Produce cashflow forecasts and support foreign currency requirements.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and working capital.
• Maintain fixed asset registers, depreciation schedules, and asset reporting.
• Support VAT returns, compliance reporting, and financial governance processes.
• Assist with annual audits and year-end financial reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the finance function.
• Provide financial support and reporting to stakeholders across the business.

Skills & Experience

• AAT Level 4 qualified or studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Management Accountant or within a similar finance role.
• Strong month-end and management reporting experience.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
• Cashflow forecasting and working capital management experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
