Operations Manager

We are seeking an Operations Manager to provide strategic leadership and direction across our operations. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, enhancing manufacturing processes, and ensuring the alignment of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability with our business objectives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Establish operational objectives, KPIs, budgets, and improvement plans to support current and future operational needs.
- Lead capacity planning, operational forecasting, and capital investment planning.
- Provide clear operational performance reporting, identify risks, and make recommendations to senior leadership.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement across all operations.
- Ensure operational compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001) and manage quality systems specific to our sectors.
- Develop a high-performance culture, ensuring all operational managers have the necessary support and resources to meet customer needs and improve productivity and profitability.
- Promote a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree, HND, or equivalent in Operations Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably with a background in managing multi-functional teams.
- Demonstrable success in implementing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement programs.
- Experience in strategic business planning, operational budgeting, and capital investment.
- Strong experience in people development, succession planning, and organizational change.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 management systems.
- Lean Practitioner, Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
- Excellent skills in operational KPI management, data analysis, and performance reporting.
- Strong commercial awareness, financial understanding, and data-led decision-making.
