Portfolio are proud to be representing a market-leading professional services consultancy looking for an experienced HR / Employment Law Consultant to join their growing team.

Rather than supporting the same business and dealing with the same internal challenges, you'll work with business owners across a huge variety of sectors and industries, taking the lead on real-life employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, capability meetings, appeals and dismissals. You'll be trusted to get to the heart of complex situations, speak with employees and witnesses, assess the facts, identify risk and help clients reach fair, commercially sensible and legally compliant outcomes. You'll get:
What will you actually be doing?
You'll virtually meet with clients and their employees, predominantly through Microsoft Teams, to conduct or support formal HR meetings.
One day you could be investigating a workplace complaint and interviewing witnesses; the next you could be chairing a disciplinary, advising a business owner on a difficult employee situation or helping navigate a grievance or appeal.
You'll also provide mediation and conciliation support, advise clients on their legal position and produce clear, professional reports following meetings and investigations.
Most importantly, you'll remain impartial, confident and commercially aware, helping clients understand both their legal position and potential risk.
Who are we looking for?
You could already be working as an HR Manager, Employee Relations Specialist, HR Consultant, People Manager or Employment Law professional.
You'll ideally have:
