An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join a values-led organisation as HR Manager. This is a broad and varied role, offering the chance to lead people initiatives, support senior leaders and drive positive organisational change.
The Role
- Lead and develop the organisation's people strategy and HR initiatives.
- Partner with senior leaders to enhance culture, engagement and employee experience.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding and retention activities.
- Drive leadership development and management capability programmes.
- Review and improve HR policies, procedures and people processes.
- Lead organisational development and change initiatives.
- Manage workforce planning, succession planning and talent development activities.
- Monitor HR metrics and provide reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Champion a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
About You
- Previous experience in an HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor, People Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Confident managing employee relations casework and advising managers.
- Experience supporting organisational change and business improvement initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work both strategically and operationally.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified, or equivalent experience.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
