ResponsibilitiesTikTok Shop is an innovative marketplace fully integrated into TikTok. It brings together online sellers, buyers and creators - all within TikTok to build a one-stop, seamless shopping experience and bringing more commerce solutions that further enable our community to discover and engage with what they love. Join our team as a Business Development Manager, where you'll lead our efforts to grow our platform in the Beauty industry. Your role involves finding and convincing new clients to join us. Your background prepares you for the fast-paced environment, where you'll take charge of ambitious goals for getting new clients, adding products to our platform, and increasing sales. You'll use your persuasive skills to explain the benefits of our platform to clients and help them get started smoothly. Your ability to bounce back from setbacks and consistently meet targets is crucial as you work to grow our business. If you're excited about making a difference, shape the future of our platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in Business Development and possess excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills. Operating in a fast-moving environment you will work autonomously, taking full responsibility and ownership for hitting business OKRs.
- Find new potential clients through research, networking, and focused outreach.
- Craft persuasive pitches that address the needs of potential clients and highlight the benefits of our platform.
- Guide clients through the process of joining our platform and address any concerns they have.
- Assist clients in setting up their accounts accurately and completely.
- Develop and execute a plan for bringing new clients onto our platform, including timelines and goals.
- Achieve monthly goals for acquiring new clients, adding products, and increasing sales.
- Collaborate closely with other teams to improve processes, enhance the client experience, and grow the business.
- Understand our products, the competition, and our unique positioning in the industry.
- Proficient in handling objections and learning new platforms or products quickly.
- Experience in e-commerce.
- Strong network in the beauty industry.
- Ability to work autonomously and familiarity with CRM tools.
- Demonstrated examples of building processes from scratch.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
- UK market experience.
