Salary: £47,000 - £49, 637
Contract: Fixed-term maternity cover - 6 months intially
Location: London - Hybrid working (1-2 days p/w in office)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced trusts fundraiser to join Historic Royal Palaces as their Trusts Manager. This team is composed of incredibly talented fundraisers and you will have the opportunity to work on several seven-figure funders and line manage one person. Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in securing significant income from trusts and foundations to support the charity's ambitious work caring for some of the UK's most iconic historic sites.
Managing a portfolio of UK, US and international trusts and foundations, you will identify and cultivate new prospects, develop compelling cases for support, and build meaningful relationships with funders.
This role would suit a proactive, creative and relationship-focused fundraiser who enjoys translating complex projects into inspiring funding opportunities and is passionate about delivering outstanding donor experiences
To be successful as the Trusts Manager you will need:

• Strong experience of building relationships with Trusts and Foundations and a proven track record of securing major gifts, including six-figure grants.
• Outstanding relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with donors, senior volunteers and colleagues across an organisation.
• Excellent written communication skills, with experience of developing compelling cases for support, funding applications and donor reports.
