About the role:

EdStaff are seeking a professional and highly organised school administrator to join a busy office team within a primary school in the Crosby area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pro-active administrator who has previous experience working within a school environment and is confident managing a variety of administrative duties in a fast-paced setting. You will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors, and staff and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office and efficient administrative support.

The role is full-time and is due to be 1 term long (September - December).

The school are looking for somebody with previous experience working within a school office.

Key responsibilities:

  • Welcoming visitors with a warm and friendly presence
  • Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally.
  • Providing administrative support to the senior leadership team and wider school staff.
  • Managing pupil records and maintaining accurate data.
  • Processing attendance and admissions administration.
  • Handling correspondence, filing, and general office duties.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding

  • Able to use initiative and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information

Essential requirements:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above
  • Previous experience in a school administrative role
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
  • Able to provide references to cover the last 2 years
