In this role, you'll primarily deliver Mechanical Engineering modules across Higher Education programmes, teaching advanced subjects such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Mechanical Design, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Engineering Analysis, and other core Mechanical Engineering disciplines. You'll support students through lectures, tutorials, project supervision, and assessment activities, helping them develop the technical knowledge, analytical capability, and problem-solving skills required within modern engineering environments.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline and have previous teaching, training, lecturing, or instructional experience. The Role
Deliver Mechanical Engineering modules across Higher Education programmes
Teach Engineering Mathematics, Material Science, Health & Safety, Manufacturing Processes, and core Mechanical Engineering principles
Support, mentor, and develop undergraduate and Higher Education students
Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and assessments
Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement activities
Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

The Person
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
Experience teaching, lecturing, training, instructing, or assessing learners
Strong Mechanical Engineering background
Knowledge of Engineering Mathematics, Material Science, and Mechanical Engineering principles
Passionate about developing others and sharing technical knowledge
Looking to build a long-term career within Higher Education
