Reed Accountancy is proud to be working with a York-based business that is seeking a Finance Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time, office-based role within a busy environment, where you will provide financial support, administrative support, assist with budget monitoring, and use strong organisational skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Purchase ledger processing; invoice processing, account allocation and nominal coding
- Assist in preparation of reports required
- Raise purchase orders
- Assist with the input income and expenditure information
- Assist staff with administration queries
- Provision of administrative and secretarial duties as required
- Assist senior staff with budget preparation and revision
- Undertake some administration of accounts, including handling cash, collecting monies and payments of bills and invoices
- Participate in the performance management scheme
- Assist in monitoring the budget regularly and liaise with the senior finance team.
- Monitor stock levels, order office materials, equipment services and check incoming orders including processing of payments
You will need to demonstrate:
- Previous experience within a finance role
- Experience working within office environments
- Level 2 AAT minimum (desirable)
- Organisational skills and commitment to continue professional development
- Attention to detail and accuracy
