In this role, you will take the lead on curriculum design and delivery across the Motor Vehicle department, managing and mentoring a team of lecturers and assessors. You will drive outstanding learner outcomes, lead on employer engagement, and play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the department - with the backing of a supportive and ambitious senior leadership team.

This role would suit an experienced Motor Vehicle Lecturer or Trainer ready to step into their first leadership position, looking for an organisation that will back their development, reward their ambition, and offer a genuine pathway to further progression.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage the Motor Vehicle department, including curriculum design and delivery
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of lecturers and assessors
  • Drive employer engagement and maintain strong industry links
  • Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week - with management training and development support provided
  • Clear pathway to further senior leadership progression


The Person:

  • Background in Motor Vehicle - industry experience and/or teaching experience
  • Hold a Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent)
  • Teaching or assessor qualification (or working towards one)
  • Commutable to Accrington
  • Ready to step up into a leadership or management role
