Job Description

Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Location: Richmond upon Thames

Salary: 36,000 - 45,000

Contract: Full-time or Part-time

NonStop Care is working with a vibrant multidisciplinary private practice to recruit an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their specialist team in Richmond upon Thames.

The organisation provides high-quality therapy services for children and young people aged 0-19 years across clinics, schools, and satellite settings. The multidisciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Play Therapists, and Clinical and Educational Psychologists. The practice is also part of the Harley Street Medical Group.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly supportive and specialist environment with children presenting with a range of additional needs and neurodevelopmental difficulties.


About the Role

You will support children and young people with:

Sensory processing difficulties
Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
ADD/ADHD
Developmental delay
Fine and gross motor difficulties
Handwriting and school readiness challenges
Emotional regulation and behavioural difficulties
Learning difficulties


The role involves delivering high-quality assessments and interventions, preparing sensory diets and home programmes, and supporting children to achieve greater independence in daily activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver therapy sessions for up to 7 children per day (45-minute sessions
  • Assess and support children with a range of developmental and sensory needs
  • Develop individualised treatment plans and sensory programmes
  • Support children with functional tasks such as dressing, eating, and mobility
  • Educate and advise families on strategies and interventions
  • Recommend specialist equipment and provide guidance on its use
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team

About You

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration
  • Minimum 3-5 years of paediatric Occupational Therapy experience
  • Experience using a Sensory Integration approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of professionalism and clinical understanding
  • Passion and dedication for supporting children and young people
