Description

• Manage VAT compliance processes, including preparing and reviewing VAT returns.

• Ensure compliance with UK VAT legislation and monitor changes to regulations.
• Conduct VAT audits and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate VAT reporting and risk management.
• Support in the preparation of VAT-related documentation for external audits and inspections.
• Act as the first point of contact for VAT-related queries across the organisation.

Profile

A successful VAT Manager should have:

• A professional qualification in tax or accounting, such as CTA, ACA, or ACCA.
• Proven expertise in VAT compliance and advisory work, particularly within the property industry.
• Strong knowledge of UK VAT legislation and its application to property transactions.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
