About the Role

A well-established organisation is seeking an Operations Team Lead to support day-to-day operational performance within a fast-paced food environment. This role involves overseeing a team, driving performance, maintaining high standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team to ensure strong operational performance
  • Oversee key metrics relating to efficiency, processes, performance, and service delivery
  • Support and maintain standards across compliance, quality, and workplace best practice
  • Conduct investigations, reviews, and audits to continually raise performance
  • Work closely with internal teams across various functions
  • Promote a positive and engaging working environment
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and support team development

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a team leader, supervisor, or people management role
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
  • Comfortable working with performance metrics and documentation
  • Good general IT skills
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with strong leadership qualities
