About the Role
A well-established organisation is seeking an Operations Team Lead to support day-to-day operational performance within a fast-paced food environment. This role involves overseeing a team, driving performance, maintaining high standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team to ensure strong operational performance
- Oversee key metrics relating to efficiency, processes, performance, and service delivery
- Support and maintain standards across compliance, quality, and workplace best practice
- Conduct investigations, reviews, and audits to continually raise performance
- Work closely with internal teams across various functions
- Promote a positive and engaging working environment
- Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and support team development
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a team leader, supervisor, or people management role
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- Comfortable working with performance metrics and documentation
- Good general IT skills
- Proactive, hands-on approach with strong leadership qualities
Desirable Skills
- Experience within a high-volume or fast-paced operational setting
- Knowledge of compliance, quality systems, or process improvement
- Qualifications in leadership, compliance, or similar areas
