Manufacturing Technician I
Location: Cramlington
Position Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract
Shift Pattern: 4 Days On - 4 Days Off (18:00 - 06:00)
Pay Rate: 13.46 per hour + 30% Shift Allowance
The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join our production team in Cramlington. In this role, you will work within a cGMP-compliant cleanroom environment to safely and efficiently assemble high-quality single-use medical products.
This is a vital position that ensures our products meet stringent quality standards to fulfill critical customer orders worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Manual Assembly: Assemble material components using manual, electronic, and pneumatic hand tools according to detailed drawings and SOPs.
Quality Control: Maintain 5S standards and ensure all products are cGMP compliant.
Documentation: Accurately record critical data within batch records.
Preparation: Handle critical components and set up/kit raw materials for production.
Safety: Follow all safe working practices and utilize required PPE at all times.
Requirements
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift and perform lifting/carrying tasks.
Technical Aptitude: Experience using hand tools and the ability to read technical drawings.
Detail Oriented: Good eyesight for inspecting finished goods and basic mathematical skills for data recording.
Reliability: A punctual, dependable work ethic and a flexible approach to changing production needs.
Experience: Previous experience in a cleanroom or manufacturing assembly environment is preferred but not essential.
