Description

  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to strengthen relationships and participation.
  • Oversee and manage events, programmes, and initiatives that align with the organisation's mission.
  • Line manage an administrative team to ensure consistent and effective communications.
  • Act as a key point of contact for community members, addressing inquiries and feedback professionally.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of engagement activities, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for partnerships and collaborations to enhance community offerings.
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials and online content to promote initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant regulations in all engagement activities.

Profile

A successful Community Engagement Manager should have:

  • A strong background in managing community-focused programmes within the Not For Profit sector.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing events or outreach initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse groups.
