Locum Property Legal Officer - Full-Time - Hybrid Working - 3+ Month Contract - Up to £30 per hour (Umbrella) - East Midlands
Venn Group's specialist legal team are currently recruiting for a Locum Property Legal Officer to join a Local Authority on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Property Legal Officer to join a friendly and established legal team.
The Role:
Role: Locum Property Legal Officer
Working Arrangement: Full Time, Hybrid working (1-2 office days per week)
Rate: Up to £30 per hour umbrella
Role Responsibilities:
- Drafting and completing leases for commercial sites
- Handling surrenders, leases, licences, and tenancies
- Preparing and completing auction packs
- Assisting with a range of property-related transactions
- Supporting the wider team with legal research as required
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal procedures
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience working within Property Law, ideally within a Local Authority or public sector setting
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and the ability to support a wider legal team
