Key Responsibilities- Lead group financial processing and reporting, ensuring a disciplined, efficient month-end close and consistently high-quality outputs.
- Oversee the preparation of management accounts, board reporting and performance insight that supports commercial and operational decision-making.
- Provide clear financial analysis on performance, risks and opportunities, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
- Own cashflow, liquidity and working capital oversight, driving strong balance sheet discipline across a multi-entity group.
- Maintain robust financial controls, reconciliations, policies and governance, supporting statutory and audit requirements.
- Provide strategic oversight of finance systems, championing automation, data and process improvement to reduce manual effort and improve insight.
- Oversee treasury activity, intercompany balances and banking arrangements, ensuring strong control and visibility.
- Support risk management, internal audit activity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to business change, including systems upgrades, process redesign, group restructuring and acquisition activity.
Key Requirements- ACA or ACCA qualified with solid post-qualification experience in financial control, reporting or group finance roles.
- Strong technical accounting foundation, ideally gained in complex or multi-entity environments.
- Proven experience leading teams and improving finance processes and controls.
- Hands-on, proactive mindset - comfortable balancing operational delivery with strategic thinking.
- Strong communicator, able to translate complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, commercial awareness and a genuine appetite to improve how finance operates.
