Job Description
Robert Half are currently recruiting for a fully qualified Senior Auditor to join an established accountancy practice firm on a 3-month contract, supporting with year-end audits for a portfolio of clients.
Based in central Barnsley, this role will be working from the clients' offices, so we are looking for someone who is confident operating in a client-facing environment and able to make an immediate impact.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver year-end audits for a range of businesses
- Plan, conduct and complete audit fieldwork efficiently and accurately
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards
- Work closely with clients on-site, building strong and professional relationships
- Identify audit risks, prepare findings and report back to senior stakeholders
- Support and guide junior team members where required
Key requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Senior Auditor within an accountancy practice
- Strong background in year-end audits for external clients
- Comfortable working on-site in client offices
- Able to work independently, manage deadlines and handle a busy workload
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Contract details:
- 3-month contract
