Job Description

Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Band 6) - Term Time Only

Location: Aylesbury

Salary: 36,454 - 43,897 (pro rata 31,967 - 38,494)

Contract: Permanent Term-time only

NonStop Care is working with a specialist, non-profit organisation to recruit a Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to support children and young people with neurodisabilities in dedicated school settings in Aylesbury.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work in a child-centred environment, helping young people aged 5-16 develop independence, motor skills, and emotional regulation.


About the Role
You will deliver high-quality assessments and interventions across specialist schools, focusing on:

  • Sensory processing
  • Emotional regulation
  • Motor skills development
  • Functional independence

Working within a small therapy team, you will benefit from structured support while also contributing to clinical decision-making and service development at Band 6 level.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and support children with a range of neurodevelopmental needs
  • Deliver targeted interventions within school settings
  • Work together with therapists, educators, and families
  • Contribute to care planning and clinical discussions
  • Support positive outcomes for children and young people

About You

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist (HCPC registered)
  • Experience at Band 5 or Band 6 level
  • Interest in paediatrics, sensory integration, or functional skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for supporting children with additional needs
