Financial Accountant

Adele Carr Recruitment are partnering with a global manufacturer in the Wrexham area with reference to a Financial Accountant requirement.

The Role:

The Financial Accountant will lead the financial reporting and month-end governance framework across all UK entities. The role is accountable for the integrity, timeliness, and control of consolidated monthly results, management accounts, and Board reporting. The position oversees entity-level reporting, consolidation, and financial commentary, ensuring alignment between management, statutory, and Group reporting. It provides leadership and development to the Financial Accounting team and drives reporting discipline, balance sheet integrity, and continuous improvement within a complex multi-entity manufacturing environment.

• Consolidation and management accountancy
• Overseeing the technical accounting
• Balance sheet management and analysis
• Team leadership and development
• System/process improvement
• Year end Audit responsibilities

The Person:

• Fully qualified accountant
• At least 3 years post qualified in a multi-entity environment
• Strong technical accounting experience
• Proven experience of leading month end and proven experience of producing consolidated management accounts
