Patient Booker
Red Recruitment is recruiting a Patient Booker to begin working immediately in a hospital in Bangor. This is a temporary position with lots of opportunities.
This role will involve you to book appointments for patients, completing a variety of administration duties and ensuring the smooth running of the department.
We are looking for a candidate with proven NHS booking experience, ideally within Endoscopy. However, we would also welcome candidates who have strong booking experience gained either within a hospital setting or a GP practice

Package for a Patient Booker:
- Salary: 14.00 per hour
- Contract Type: Temporary
- Location: Bangor
- Hours: Monday - Friday - 8am - 4pm
Key Responsibilities for a Patient Booker:
- Booking patients in for appointments or their transport to and from hospital
- Chasing up reports
- Inputting patient data
- Being the first point of patient contact by answering the phone or email
- Ensuring patients appointments are booked correctly and efficiently
- Providing up to date information to patients
- Completing any administration duties that may be required
Key Skills for a Patient Booker:
- You should have a keen eye for detail
- Great communication skills including both written and verbal is required
- You ideally will be passionate about people and want to help others
- Strong administration and booking experience and who worked either in primary or secondary NHS care.
