We are looking for a Trainee Shipping Administrator to work for an established organisation. The role will be first 6 months within the office, learning the basics then you will start an apprenticeship which is 18-24 months and you do this 1once a week in the office meeting room online. At the end of the apprenticeship, you gain Level 3 which is equivalent to A 'Levels and is recognised at Institute of Export Freight Forwarding. Shipping Administrator with work part of a team within the department responsible for direct interaction with internal and external customers. Good Customer service, problem solving, interaction with other departments. Role will involve: To code account payable invoices related to shipping Arrange /Submit Clearance of all imports from EU/WW. File all Customs Declarations from Couriers Eu/WW export dispatches on the internal system. Raise and submit EU/WW Export freight quotations when required. Track and update sales coordinator on courier shipments discrepancies for Export & Imports. Chase all EU/WW COS/Customs documents for Import/ Exports. Prepare and process all aspects of export documentation from dispatch to shipping of the goods. Excellent customer service, Good IT skills, strong attention to detail required and enthusiasm to learn. Monday to Friday 8-6pm 36.5 hour week and can be flexible within these times.
