The Role
- Lead demand planning across a complex, multi-supplier supply chain
- Manage and develop a high-performing demand planning team
- Drive improvements in forecasting accuracy, availability, and service levels
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the demand planning team
- Own demand planning KPIs, availability, and service performance
- Analyse and report performance, trends, risks, and opportunities
- Translate product, supplier, and category strategies into accurate forecasts
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
- Review supplier and product group splits to ensure forecast alignment
- Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation
- Partner with HR on team development and succession planning
- Support senior leadership in achieving business objectives
About You
- Proven experience in demand planning within a complex supply chain
- Previous people management or team leadership experience
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability
- Experience using ERP and demand planning systems
- Confident communicator with cross-functional and senior stakeholders
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and commercially minded
