Legal Assistant / Paralegal

  • Annual Salary: Circa £28,000
  • Location: Monmouth (potential for hybrid working)
  • Job Type: Full-time

Reed are are now looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Legal Assistant or Paralegal to support our clients corporate team and contribute to our growth.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support the corporate department primarily, with occasional assistance to the employment, commercial, or real estate teams.
  • Engage with clients, manage file openings, and handle AML and EDD processes as required.
  • Conduct due diligence, legal research, and draft and proofread contracts and other PLC precedents.
  • Manage filings with Companies House, handle invoicing, and oversee online portal management.
  • Focus on building and maintaining relationships with clients and introducers, delivering outstanding and professional support to both fee earners and clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal, with at least 1 year in a Corporate environment.
  • Law Degree.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and confidence in your ability to contribute to departmental growth.
  • Professional, personable, and approachable demeanour.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Proficiency in MS365.
  • Alignment with the firm's values and a commitment to superior client service.
