Lab Administrator (Flexible Hours)

Chorley Hourly Rate: £13.00-£13.50 Flexible Hours Available

I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established market leader based in Chorley, who are looking for a reliable and organised Laboratory Administrator to support their busy laboratory operation.

This is a hands-on, varied role supporting the lab team with order processing, sample handling and dispatch, as well as maintaining a clean, well-organised working area. Ideal for someone with great attention to detail, strong computer skills, and a flexible approach to work.

• Manage the laboratory order system, accurately processing requests
• Pick and pack samples for testing and customer dispatch
• Book couriers and prepare shipments
• Maintain lab and storeroom housekeeping - cleanliness, organisation and restocking
• Support the wider lab team with general administrative and coordination tasks

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately at pace
• Good computer skills and confidence using systems
• A fast learner with a positive, flexible attitude
• Happy to support with hands-on tasks alongside admin duties
• Flexible hours available - school hours can be accommodated

• Hourly rate of £13.00-£13.50
