The role of Costs Draftsperson/Lawyer arises in the context of the defence of claims and litigation on behalf of insurers and their policyholders in relation to personal injury claims (of all types) but the team also services specialist work arising from commercial, property, marine, aviation and professional indemnity claims and litigation.

Description

As a Costs Draftsperson/Lawyer your duties will include:

• Assessing and negotiating settlement of fast track, intermediate track and multi-track costs, including handling of related costs proceedings.

• Drafting own party and opposing third party cost budgets.

• Pursuing costs recoveries including bill drafting.

Profile

A successful Costs Draftsperson/Lawyer should ideally have at least 2 years experience in costs matters and must have experience of drafting points of dispute.
