Job Description

Are you highly organised, detail-driven and interested in the international side of trade marks and intellectual property? This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist IP team supporting global trade mark portfolios and large-scale recordal projects.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established professional services organisation specialising in intellectual property. They operate as part of a collaborative and knowledgeable team, supporting clients with complex and wide-ranging international trade mark needs.

Description

  • Provide administrative support across trade mark applications, prosecution and recordals
  • Open and manage new matters, processing instructions and supporting documentation
  • Liaise with overseas trade mark registries and local associates across multiple jurisdictions
  • Monitor progress of filings and requests, chasing outstanding information where required
  • Process certificates and maintain accurate records within bespoke IP case management systems
  • Support billing and invoicing requirements
  • Assist the renewals team with renewals in specific jurisdictions
  • Provide cover for other team members during periods of absence or peak workload

Profile

A successful candidate will have:

  • Experience within trade marks or intellectual property, particularly overseas or international portfolios (desirable)
  • Alternatively, a strong administrative background with experience using databases or case management systems
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven work
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidence working in a client-facing role with clear written and verbal English skills
  • Good general IT skills, including Word and Excel (experience with IP systems advantageous)
