Description

Reporting into the Legal Director you will play a key role in advising the business on:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts
• Regulatory and compliance-related matters
• Pragmatic legal support and training to internal stakeholders
• Corporate, governance, and policy matters
• Managing external counsel where required
• Process improvement and development of internal legal frameworks

Profile

The successful candidate should have:

• Legal qualification in the UK
• Experience in handling matters within the insurance or financial services industry
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• A thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
• The ability to work independently and provide practical legal solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
