We are seeking a supportive and flexible Learning Support Assistant to join our Adult Skills department, where you will provide both in-class and out of class (1:1 and small group) support in English and Maths to students with barriers to learning. A key part of this role will be to assist with developing independence in learners to improve resilience and confidence in classroom activity, thus enabling them to access the full curriculum. This rewarding role would be suited to somebody with the ability to engage and relate to students, and a genuine desire to support them in their progress. The successful applicant will have sound English and Maths skills, with a Level 2+ qualification, together with strong interpersonal skills.
