Application and Project Support Analyst

Our client, a leading global organisation are looking for an experienced Application and Project Support Analyst who can hit the ground running to start ASAP on a full time permanent basis. The client is ideally looking for sound experience within Business Applications Support and NOT a 2nd Line Support person.

  • Strong business application knowledge.
  • Business Applications Support
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Able to set up campaigns and policies
  • Configuration
  • Good at following processes and documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisation skills
  • Ability to take part in workshops with business users to gather requirements for changes within applications
  • Quality and objective analysis of data and process
  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages, Office, Visio and Project

Key Responsibilities

  • To understand the key systems and be able to provide assistance on a day-to-day basis when required.
  • Becoming a fully competent systems administrator in a variety of business applications, including their CMS, Engage, Assist/Sprint and APAK, and Connect (POS)
  • To manage workload and helpdesk tickets using internal helpdesk system.
  • Deliver key areas of internal changes such as online documents, workflows, products.
  • Review and improve existing application support processes and ensure that documentation is kept updated
  • Work with the Business change team where further support is required to resolve issues or to implement changes
  • Basic technical IT support to the Business when required.
