Reed Colchester Business Support are delighted to be representing an amazing Water Supplies Distribution Company based in Central Colchester who are looking for a bright and talented Commercial Analyst to support their commercial department.
Based in Colchester, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right approach and application to join an exciting company as they rapidly expand nationwide.
Duties will include:
• Providing detailed analysis to the Commercial Managers who negotiate our agreements with the suppliers.
• Liaising directly with the Commercial Director and completing reporting tasks as and when they are required.
• Working alongside the Product File team to create pricing structures that enable our sales staff to trade competitively.
• Liaising with our Regional Directors and Branch Managers to provide them with ad-hoc information in a clear and concise format
• Compiling and reviewing data from a number of sources in an easy interpretable manner to identify key areas for potential improvement and growth within the business.
• Balancing multiple projects at once and ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Confidence within Excel is a must. Experience with Macros and coding in general would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools - for example Phocas or Qlik - would be preferred. Experience with Alteryx would also be advantageous.

• Key personality traits would be a keen eye for detail, the ability to remain calm under pressure and an enquiring but logical approach to data analysis.
