Commercial Insurance Underwriter / Handler - South Croydon

Basic Salary c35k Negotiable DOE + Bonus and Pension & Flexible Benefits

Our client is a leading Chartered Independent Insurance Broker who has been trading for over 20 years who are now looking for a Commercial Broker / Underwriter assist with the day-to-day handling of the Commercial Book of Business handling Schemes and Binder Business Alongside the Directors

Key responsibilities:

Working with the Account Directors with responsibility for the day-to-day administration of accounts, point of contact for enquiries, issuance of documentation (including invoices, summaries, certificates etc.).

You will be required to

• Utilise your insurance experience to pro-actively manage, maintain, and grow client and insurer relationships
• Primarily quoting new and renewal business for all sections of cover such as Public/Products Liability, Employers Liability, Contractors All Risks, Excess of Loss, Material Damage, Director's & Officers, Legal Expenses and Professional Indemnity.

Requirements

• Experience in Commercial Insurance and or Underwriting /Delegated Authority
• Ability to manage client relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
