Summary

The Head of Performance role will work with the COO/Chief of Staff, Leadership, HR, and other external parties and be responsible for enhancing individual and collective performance across ICIS (and Data Services) as required to ensure talent capability and readiness to deliver on our strategy and exceed objectives.

The HoP will collaborate with all functions on the development and engagement of talent across the organisation driving individual and collective performance. The head of Performance will develop and deliver a performance management strategy across the business linking with engagement and culture to ensure talent achieves its potential and exceeds business objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

Work across the organisation to deliver individual, group and collective programmes to enhance individual performance including -

  • Ensure individual and team alignment on both role and objectives in relation to the business strategy, priorities and the value delivered to customers
  • Helping to identify organisational opportunities for increased collaboration and agility
  • Work and coordinate with relevant third parties to maximise the diversity of programmes on offer
  • Ensure clarity, alignment and connectedness with other teams and functions
  • Development of individual talent development plans with leaders to maximise our talents potential which will include the design, delivery, and sourcing of programmes to facilitate within agreed budgets
  • Identify training requirements and ensure adequate employee support
  • Ensuring feedback, coaching and employee recognition
  • Engagement, satisfaction, confidence, and motivation
  • Employee wellness and wellbeing
  • Work with relevant HR business partners on regular talent reviews

Work with the ExCo, SLT, functional and cross functional leadership groups (such as Commercial Proposition Groups - CPG's) to enhance team performance, decision making and effectiveness

  • Creating team purpose, clarity of roles and connectedness with each other and other teams
  • Ensure each team member understands the role the play in the team
  • Enhance collective decision making and best use of time together
  • Provide support and tools to managers to manage performance and potential
