Secondary - Lead Practitioner in Maths

Reed Education are looking for a knowledgeable, engaging & motivating Maths Teacher to teach general Maths at both key stage 3, 4 and 5 at our exceptional schools in Sudbury.

The role is temporary to permanent.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic and engaging Maths teacher, to join a friendly and thriving department. The ideal candidate would be fully qualified with experience, have exceptional teamwork skills and a proven track record, and be able to start in January. You will be required to deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3, KS4 and KS5.

The Role:

• Ensure a high-quality learning experience for students, which meets internal and external quality standards.

• To maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the teaching Maths.

• Deliver lessons using a variety of methods appropriate to a student-centred approach

• To regularly assess and review pupils' progress and achievement and to communicate effectively with parents/carers in line with school procedures.

The ideal candidate will need:

• Qualified QTS.

• Relevant Maths degree or a related subject.

• Experience teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5.

• Recent experience of delivering Maths to GCSE.

• Enhanced DBS.

• Knowledge of Secondary Curriculum and assessments.

• Demonstrates commitment.

• An ambitious Maths Teacher who shows leadership aspirations.

• Must be able to commute to Sudbury.
