Reed is proud to be working with a well-established brokerage firm in Glasgow, who currently has a vacancy for a self-employed Mortgage and Protection Advisor. This opportunity would be perfect for someone who is ambitious and driven, looking to grow their brand and establish themselves independently.

You will have the opportunity to work from home or have use of the office to suit your needs. Various options are available in terms of admin/compliance support, lead support and training.
You may come from either a banking, independent brokerage, or estate agency background - in which case we'd love to hear from you!

Typical Responsibilities:
- Offer professional and impartial mortgage & protection advice explaining the different types of products available - advising customers on the most appropriate options for their needs
- Advise on life cover, critical illness cover, income cover and family income benefit ensuring customers are fully protected
- Conduct and review credit searches to establish customer affordability, helping those with adverse credit secure the right mortgage for them
- Source leads proactively from all available routes
- Achieve set individual targets in a variety of areas and contribute towards the overall performance of the team
- Maintain comprehensive market knowledge and adhere to relevant compliance requirements and FCA regulations

About You:
- Ambitious, confident, and proactive - strong drive to grow your business
- Passionate about providing exceptional customer service
- At least 1 year experience providing mortgage advice
- Full CeMAP or CII qualifications or equivalent
- A positive credit history is essential and the ability to work with a full panel of lenders

In Return:
