Commercial Business Partner

Macildowie are excited to be supporting a fantastic public sector organisation in Staffordshire to appoint a Commercial Business Partner.

Supporting the Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for providing procurement, business and commercial advice to a wide range of stakeholders, maximising the service levels using the available resources.

This is an exciting and challenging time to be joining the sector as there are cost pressures which means the procurement and commercial strategies are central to the organisations success as providing value-add services to it's local community.

The key responsibilities will include;

• Driving the implementation and compliance with Procurement, Purchasing and Commercial Strategies for the organisation and it's partners
• Maintaining the partnership and contracts register to ensure commercial benefits are enjoyed across the organisation and it's partners
• Implement and ensure compliance within the contract management framework
• Lead, co-ordinate and manage contract management meetings
• Support the Head of Commercial in the day-to-day leadership, management and development of Commercial Services in the delivery of a professional service.
• As a member of the commercial team contribute to the efficient running of the department and its future development.

You will be a confident, professional and engaging commercially-focused candidate with demonstrable track record either within a procurement or commercial/finance role. You will have a professional qualification in either of these disciplines, or be currently studying towards it, and be keen to utilise a wide range of skills and techniques to add value to the organisation.

You will be a strong stakeholder with the ability to communicate and influence staff across all levels within the organisation.
