Job role: Field Control System Engineer / Industrial Electrician Salary: £37,000-£50,000 per annum + Overtime available Location: Somersham, Cambridgeshire Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours (Days) -08.00am - 16.30pm Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The package: o 30 days holiday, inclusive of bank holidays o Regular Salary/Package Reviews based on performance - Quarterly o Comprehensive Pension & Life Insurance Plan o Opportunity for National/International Client Visits (Expenses Paid) o Company events o A selection of company vehicles Company Car/Van (Fuel Card) - Eligible for personal use o Overtime on Saturdays paid at time , double time on Sundays/Bank Holidays o A unique variety of projects across progressive & worldwide industries. o A clear training & development plan, offering both internal & external development surrounding design, mechanical & electrical engineering The Role: o To visit client sites around the UK installing, commissioning & maintaining an array of control systems / panels within the FMCG, Automotive, Aerospace or Defence Industry. o Occasional international travel through the USA / Europe (All expenses paid) o 1-3 times a year, weekend installations on clients sites (paid at time & double time) o Work on a variety of projects including controls panels, machinery safety upgrades, robot (pick & place) cells alongside vision systems. o While visiting clients sites, you will review the electrical/software design of the control systems - ensuring safety measures are met throughout installations & validations. o The use of PLCs (Siemans, Omron) Requirements: o Electrical bias engineer with extensive knowledge surrounding electrical based systems in an industrial environment, PLCs, Control Panel Systems & High/Low Voltage Systems o Previous experience working in industrial/manufacturing environments installing or maintaining PLCs & Control Systems. o A willingness to learn & positive team orientated attitude o Practical Qualifications (HNC, HNCD OR City & Guilds) or NVQ in Electrical/Electronic Engineering o Understanding of PLCs programmes such as Omron or Siemans.
