About The Role
The IAM Analyst will join us during a busy time of growth and change at Coventry Building Society. The successful candidate will leverage their technical knowledge and experience to advise on our access technologies throughout their lifecycle and adhere to industry best practice. In line with the overall security strategy, this role will actively seek opportunities to improve access solutions and increase security posture across the CBS estate, with empowerment to implement and drive these changes. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the strategic vision to ensure effective management of the technical, business and security Services for their specialist area.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the transition and ongoing support of the relevant IAM related solutions at CBS to meet security requirements and architectural strategy. Providing support for the creation, quality and governance of technical and standards documentation to maintain a stable and consistent environment. Where required to create and deliver documentation to support CBS regulatory requirements. Providing technical knowledge to complete the troubleshooting and resolution to production incidents or problems to meet operational security needs and ensures business as usual service is maintained to service and operational level agreements. Looking for improvement opportunities which involve coaching, mentoring, planning, supervising, supporting, and training of team members. Assisting the implementation and maintenance of access solutions
The role also includes the provision of assistance to the Architecture, Development, and Support teams to implement and support solutions into the CBS estate.
About You
You will have the passion and drive to enable the secure delivery of our digital transformation journey, working with market leading cloud technologies
You have a proven record in providing technical guidance in the implementation of security and access controls and be able to drive and steer positive security methodologies and address gaps where appropriate
You can recognise and adapt to individual differences and working styles, and support initiatives that create an environment in which diversity is valued.
And You Will Have
Identity management familiarity in one or more of the following areas:Single sign-on (SSO), data management, identity federation, enterprise directory architecture and design, including directory schema, directory services, namespace and replication topology experience, resource provisioning, ITIL, and process integration. Identity and access governance includes role-based access control, access request and certification, user life cycle management processes, and organizational change management. Basic understanding of Information Security frameworks and best practices (e.g. NIST) Basic understanding of IAM concepts, including federation, authentication, authorization, access controls, access control attacks, identity, and access provisioning life cycle. Knowledge of protocols such as SAML, OAuth2 and OpenID Connect Available for out-of-hours support on a rota basis Knowledge of security processes and capabilities, enabling technologies and governance Willingness to recognise gaps in your own skill sets and be able to take the initiative to plan and address those gaps Familiar with Scaled Agile ways of working Hours: 35 - Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm
