Project Manager Not for Profit Staffordshire/North Warwickshire £28,280 FTEMacildowie are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a Not for Profit organisation based in the West Midlands, with offices also based in London.This is a charitable membership organisation that exists to support and champion those working with, and for, children and young people with Special educational needs, disability and learning differences. They are an important and rewarding charity which makes a real difference to young people's lives. They work on Government backed projects to provide information, training and resources to ensure that community members in the UK and across the globe are provided with the most up-to-date knowledge and support.

They are ideally looking for Project Manager who has demonstrable experience working in a PMO environment. There is a strong team of Project Managers and 2 Senior Project Managers who all report in to the Contracts and Programme Manager. The main programme that this role will be involved in will be providing teachers with Continued Professional Development on how to work with children with special educational needs, disability and learning differences in schools.

This role is a Fixed Term contract until August 2023 however there will very likely be opportunities to remain in the PMO Team and potentially a permanent role depending on your performance and what projects take place in 2023. There will be plenty of variety in the projects as all the as the projects can be incredibly diverse so it offers great opportunity to pick up transferable skills. It is paying £28,280 p/a FTE so will be pro-rated down for the months you complete and you will only need to be required in the office twice a week. The RoleSupport the delivery of special educational needs and disability projects delivered across the organisation. You will be responsible for effective and efficient project management across multiple strands

- Support the tracking, monitoring and reporting of multiple project strands including project timelines, project documents and project finances.

- Liaise with external and internal colleagues regarding project strands on behalf of the organisation

- Provide oversight of all project strands' progress and reportingMinimum Requirements- Experience coordinating or supporting a project or multiple strands and have all round strong Project Manager Skills

- Experience of working with professionals from a variety of backgrounds and professional groups.

- Experience using a range of project and programme management tools (e.g. risk registers, project plans, lessons logsDesirable- Experience of budget management.

- Knowledge of the Education system, schools, further education, alternative provision Experience of working in the voluntary sectorBenefits- £28,280 p/a- Only 2 days required in the office
