We are working with a leading business who are going through an exciting period of growth and looking for a Delivery Manager / Scrum Master to join them on their journey.What will you be doing?The AGILE Delivery Manager will manage delivery teams, Scrum or otherwise, taking ownership of the delivery of specific Agile projects.You'll work in an Agile approach to deliver artefacts in line with agreed designs, meet the business/customer requirements and be in accordance with defined quality, coding standards and architectural principles.You'll ensure that implementations are in line with enterprise architecture, principles and agreed design, thereby delivering a quality code into test and production environmentsThis role is a crossover one, with elements of a Project/Delivery Manager and a Scrum Master. It therefore has essential attributes from both.Delivery Support/run scrum of scrums Support the day to day running of the agile delivery teams, helping them to meet their commitment to their sprint goal Act as the single point of contact for the software delivery team Develop, manage and maintain key stakeholder relationships with the Product Management Plan, direct, coordinate and monitors activities of project teams involved in the analysis, design, development and support Creates status reports for project sponsors and IT end-users that include key indicators of project progress, risk, and successWorking with the team Shield the team from distractions. Remove impediments. Follow through with retrospective actions. Continuously review progress against the benchmarks (agile health reports) Ensure blockers are owned and removed so that the teams can continue working with minimal delay Work with the relevant stakeholders, primarily the Product Owner, to prioritise the backlog and create and maintain the product roadmap Apply the appropriate level of Agile governance to the delivery process, covering communication, reporting and metricsTechnical Skills Demonstrable knowledge of a range of Agile models, e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean Clear understanding of continuous software delivery lifecycle Advanced JIRA knowledge (workflows, schemes, fields, etc) Being a Certified Scrum Master is desirable but definitely not essentialWhat will you get in return?
