ABOUT THE ROLE

SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting on behalf of a thriving and vibrant school in West London who are looking for a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant to work with students from Reception to Year 5 who have Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The school is a mainstream school that has a provision within it for students with special needs. The student can display some challenging behaviour, so the school is ideally looking for someone who is experienced. The experience does not need to be extensive however, as the school also recognises that someone with the right personality and attitude could also adapt to the role quickly and be successful.

The ideal candidate

• Must be proactive
• Must be able to use initiative and not have to wait for instruction from the teacher
• Would ideally have experience in a similar role
• Be able to build positive relationships
• Genuinely care about supporting teaching, learning and young people with special needs
