Content Writer (Investments)

Bolton (Hybrid working)

Permanent

Salary: up to £28,000 + significant bonus + market leading benefits.

The Company:

My client is an independently owned investment company with over £10 billion assets under management. Due to their continuing success they are looking to recruit a Content Writer to work alongside their award winning team, and provide market leading intel and communications to financial professionals and retail investors.

The Role:

We're looking for a talented writer with an interest in Financial services and stock markets. You'll build relationships with fund managers and turn their insights into clear and informative content for financial professionals and retail investors.

You don't need to be an expert in financial markets. If you can demonstrate strong writing skills and a willingness to learn, then our client will teach you the rest.

Purpose

  • Promote a range of products and services by writing accurate and engaging copy across our multi-channel propositions
  • Have a strong sense of storytelling that can influence decisions to create success for the brand and business partners
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with our key stakeholders at all levels across the Group
  • Ability to create compelling communications in a fast-paced environment while ensuring content meets the evolving requirements of our audiences and compliance regulations
  • Interview and liaise with subject matter experts across key areas including research, product, compliance, commercial and marketing
  • Support the Marketing and Content Team by sharing oversight of trending content formats, topics and companies
  • Proof read commentary written by investment management professionals
  • Ensure consistency across content in terms of tone, voice and visual representation, in line with our brand and style guidelines
  • Keep abreast of competitor activity and content strategies

The Candidate:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent level qualification
  • Experience of producing regular, timely and high-quality communications, either from a previous role or demonstrable through educational background
  • Excellent written skills
  • Innovative and creative thinking and ability to execute content for multi-channel campaigns
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive and collaborative attitude
  • PC literacy and internet skills
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Professional manner and attitude
